About the Role

We are hiring a skilled MEP Engineer to design, coordinate, and supervise Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works on building and infrastructure projects in Colombo. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and site teams to deliver high-quality MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review MEP systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs

• Coordinate MEP works with civil and structural teams to avoid clashes

• Supervise site installation and ensure compliance with approved drawings

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements

• Attend site meetings and provide technical guidance to contractors

• Ensure all MEP works meet local regulations and international standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP design and/or site supervision

• High Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar design tools

• Experience with VRV/VRF installations / Chill water systems / Fire protection systems, and ELV works is an advantage

• Good communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

• Preferred availability of vehicle to site visit

• IESL affiliate membership is an advantage
