Naturalist / Ranger

Embark on an exciting journey connecting guests with the pristine natural beauty surrounding our properties. As a Naturalist / Ranger, you will be the ambassador of our unique ecosystems, leading immersive nature experiences and educating our guests on the rich biodiversity of Sri Lanka. Your role is pivotal in creating memorable and educational encounters while ensuring environmental stewardship and guest safety.

Location : Aura Lounge Restaurant & Hostel, Udawalawa, Sri Lanka

Responsibilities

• Conduct guided nature walks, safaris, and birdwatching excursions for guests.
• Educate guests on local flora, fauna, ecosystems, and conservation efforts.
• Ensure guest safety and comfort during all outdoor activities and excursions.
• Maintain and monitor designated trails, observation points, and equipment.
• Assist in wildlife monitoring, data collection, and reporting observations.
• Develop and implement engaging interpretive programs and presentations.

Additional Advantages

• Proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil to better engage with diverse guests.
• Prior experience in the hospitality or tourism sector.
• Familiarity with wildlife monitoring techniques and data collection.
