Role Overview:

Lead the development of scalable, secure, and AI‑powered backend systems. Architect robust solutions, mentor engineers, and build intelligent services for next‑generation AI applications.

Key Focus Areas:

• AI agent orchestration
• AI & LLM integration
• Microservices & event‑driven architectures
• Secure, scalable REST / GraphQL APIs
• Data & vector systems
• Observability & monitoring

Broad Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build microservices and event‑driven architectures for AI applications
• Develop secure RESTful/GraphQL APIs with authentication, authorization, and monitoring
• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open‑source)
• Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Design vector search and semantic retrieval systems
• Develop AI agent orchestration workflows
• Optimize inference latency, throughput, and costs
• Design efficient database schemas and pipelines
• Manage structured/unstructured data for AI systems
• Implement caching, queueing, and asynchronous workflows
• Build observability, logging, and monitoring solutions

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline
• 7+ years industry experience
• Leadership and mentoring ability
• Certification in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Generative AI
• Experience building AI‑native or LLM‑powered applications
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Technical Skills:

• Backend: Python / FastAPI, Java, REST APIs, WebSockets
• AI & LLMs: OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, embeddings, RAG, AI agents
