Trainee Accounts Assistant

Location : Aura Lounge Restaurant & Hostel, Udawalawa, Sri Lanka

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Process invoices, expense claims, and payments accurately.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers.
• Support senior accountants in day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Assist in payroll processing and related activities.

Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E. O/L Examination with a credit pass for Mathematics.
• Passed G.C.E. A/L Examination, preferably in the Commerce stream.
• Part qualification in AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) or CA Sri Lanka.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
