Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Compliance to support compliance and quality assurance functions within a dynamic academic environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing compliance processes, coordinating quality assurance activities, supporting academic departments, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities. This role is important in maintaining institutional standards, strengthening documentation practices, and supporting the successful delivery of local degree programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Quality Assurance Coordination
- Coordinate compliance-related activities, quality assurance processes, and CQA meetings.
- Support academic faculties and departments in maintaining compliance documentation and required records.
- Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and compliance-related documents.
- Ensure compliance processes are followed accurately and aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports within required timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to compliance, audits, quality assurance, and academic operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional reporting and compliance tracking across departments.
- Ensure all reports, records, and submissions are properly organized and updated.
Audit & Regulatory Support
- Assist in internal and external audit processes by coordinating documentation and supporting required follow-ups.
- Support regulatory reviews, compliance checks, and quality assurance assessments.
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure audit findings, corrective actions, and reporting requirements are completed on time.
- Identify gaps in compliance processes and recommend practical improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in compliance, audit, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Experience in the education sector or academic compliance environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and record management skills.
- Experience in handling audits, regulatory requirements, or quality assurance frameworks is preferred.
- Good understanding of compliance processes, institutional standards, and internal control practices.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams effectively.
