Role Overview
We are seeking a performance driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager, Warehouse & 3PL to drive new business growth, build a strong B2B sales pipeline, and expand warehousing and third party logistics solutions within the logistics and supply chain industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting client visits, presenting logistics solutions, negotiating pricing and contracts, and achieving sales targets. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with strong exposure to warehousing, 3PL services, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales Growth
- Identify and win new business opportunities for warehousing and 3PL services.
- Build and manage a strong B2B sales pipeline.
- Develop new client relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market outreach.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Drive business growth by promoting technology enabled logistics and warehousing solutions.
Client Engagement and Solution Presentation
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and business presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable warehousing and 3PL solutions.
- Present logistics solutions clearly and professionally to prospective clients.
- Build long term relationships with customers by providing practical and value driven solutions.
- Maintain regular follow up with clients to support conversion and retention.
Commercial Negotiation and Contract Management
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and long term agreements.
- Work with internal teams to prepare proposals and service solutions.
- Ensure agreements are commercially viable and aligned with business objectives.
- Support contract finalization and smooth onboarding of new clients.
Market Development and Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in warehousing and 3PL.
- Identify growth opportunities across logistics, distribution, storage, and supply chain services.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions,
- pipeline progress, and business opportunities.
- Provide regular sales reports and market updates to management.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing, 3PL sales, logistics sales, or supply chain business development is required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics workflows, and 3PL service models.
- Proven B2B sales and contract negotiation experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Performance oriented with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to conduct client visits, site visits, and field sales activities when required.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understandÂ
- customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Self motivated, target driven, and able to work independently.
- Good follow up, planning, and relationship management skills.
