Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Production Manager – Papare to oversee live and recorded content production across TV channels, digital platforms, social media, and websites within a fast-paced telecommunication and media environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading multi-platform production strategy, managing large production teams, ensuring high-quality live and recorded content execution, optimizing production workflows, managing vendors and budgets, and driving innovation through emerging broadcast and digital media technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Production Strategy & Multi-Platform Content Management
- Lead production strategy across TV, digital, and streaming platforms.
- Ensure strong synergy between broadcast media, digital platforms, social media, and websites.
- Plan and execute live and recorded content for multiple platforms.
- Establish scalable and future-ready content workflows aligned with modern broadcasting and digital trends.
- Drive innovation in content production to improve audience engagement and platform performance.
Live Production & Broadcast Operations
- Define and oversee best practices for live broadcasting in time-sensitive environments.
- Lead production teams to ensure seamless execution of live events and recorded productions.
- Maintain high standards in live event production, broadcast technology, and multi-platform content delivery.
- Ensure all productions are delivered with quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Outsourced Operations
- Oversee senior managers and large outsourced production teams.
- Lead, guide, and coordinate multi-skilled production teams to deliver high-quality content.
- Ensure production teams follow quality standards, timelines, and operational procedures.
- Build strong coordination between internal teams, outsourced staff, vendors, and production partners.
Vendor, Cost & Equipment Management
- Negotiate with vendors and production companies to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
- Manage procurement, inventory, and maintenance of production equipment.
- Ensure production resources are used efficiently and aligned with operational requirements.
- Support budget management, cost control, and production-related financial planning.
Quality Control, Digital Operations & Website Performance
- Develop and enforce quality control processes to maintain superior production standards.
- Ensure digital platforms and websites operate efficiently with strong uptime targets.
- Support website performance and user experience improvements through data-driven decisions.
- Monitor production quality, audience engagement, and operational performance to support continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Media, Broadcasting, Digital Media, Production Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a similar production, broadcast, media, or digital content role.
- Proven expertise in live event production, broadcast technology, and multi-platform content strategy.
- Strong experience in managing TV, digital, streaming, social media, and website-based content production.
- Experience in budget management, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and outsourced production operations.
- Strong knowledge of content distribution across traditional TV, digital, and streaming platforms.
- Proficiency in emerging technologies related to production, web optimization, and digital media operations.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive live production environments.
