Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Manager to lead operational teams within an IT/BPM environment, with a focus on data extraction, quality control, team performance, and process excellence.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing team performance, ensuring quality standards, supporting medical document summarization-related operations, monitoring productivity, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires strong team management skills, attention to detail, analytical capability, and experience in managing operations in a structured delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Operational Delivery
- Lead and manage daily team operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.
- Monitor team productivity, performance, and adherence to operational standards.
- Allocate work effectively and ensure deliverables are completed within required timelines.
- Support team members in resolving process-related queries and operational challenges.
- Maintain a disciplined, performance-driven, and collaborative working environment.
Quality Control & Process Accuracy
- Ensure quality control and assurance standards are maintained across assigned tasks.
- Review outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with process requirements.
- Identify quality gaps and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and output quality.
- Maintain high attention to detail across data extraction and document processing activities.
Medical Document Summarization Support
- Oversee activities related to medical document summarization and data extraction.
- Ensure team members follow required guidelines, process standards, and documentation practices.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing related to medical document review and summarization processes.
- Monitor accuracy and consistency of outputs in line with project expectations.
Team Development & Training
- Coach, guide, and mentor team members to improve performance and capability.
- Identify training needs and support skill development within the team.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance discussions.
- Encourage ownership, accountability, and continuous learning among team members.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Prepare and maintain performance updates, quality reports, and operational summaries.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Escalate issues, risks, or delays to relevant parties when required.
- Support management with accurate updates on team performance, productivity, and quality.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in team management, operations, BPM, data processing, or a similar role.
- Previous experience in a similar team management capacity is preferred.
- Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance will be an added advantage.
- Experience in medical document summarization will be an added advantage.
- Training or certification related to process management, quality, medical documentation, or operations will be preferred.
- Strong team management, coaching, and people-handling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Ability to manage performance, quality, and productivity in a structured work environment.
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office
