Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled L2 Technical Support Engineer to provide remote and onsite technical support for enterprise server and storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware issues, diagnosing system failures, replacing field-replaceable units (FRUs), coordinating with OEM vendors, and supporting enterprise data center environments.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent customer communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise servers, storage systems, and related hardware.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues on Dell, HPE, Lenovo, IBM, Cisco, and similar enterprise platforms.
Troubleshoot storage arrays, RAID controllers, hard drives, SSDs, power supplies, fans, memory, processors, and other server components.
Analyze hardware logs, event logs, SEL logs, iDRAC/iLO/XClarity logs, storage support bundles, and diagnostic reports to identify root causes.
Perform firmware and BIOS upgrades on servers, storage systems, RAID controllers, and other infrastructure components.
Support hardware replacement activities including FRU identification and validation.
Work with OEM technical support teams for advanced troubleshooting and RMA coordination.
Troubleshoot RAID degradation, failed drives, controller issues, enclosure faults, and storage connectivity problems.
Assist with SAN connectivity, Fibre Channel, SAS, and iSCSI storage troubleshooting.
Support virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi during hardware-related incidents.
Document troubleshooting steps, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution details in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex technical issues to Level 3 or OEM support when necessary.
Ensure all support activities comply with SLA and customer service standards.
Participate in on-call, shift, weekend, or holiday support rotations as required.
