Key Responsibilities

SAP Business One Administration & Support

• Manage day-to-day SAP Business One system administration, configuration, and support.
• Support business users across finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and production modules.
• Troubleshoot SAP Business One issues and provide timely solutions to users.
• Support system go-live activities, post-implementation improvements, and ongoing optimization.
• Work closely with local Sri Lankan teams and international stakeholders to ensure smooth system usage.

BPA Platform / TaskCentre Automation & Reporting

• Configure and develop workflows using BPA Platform / TaskCentre.
• Build automated workflows, alerts, data integrations, and custom reports to reduce manual processes.
• Write and maintain business reports using BPA Platform and related reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and system enhancements.
• Support management reporting requirements through accurate data extraction and reporting.

SAP Functional Process Support

• Support SAP Business One core modules, including Financials and Controlling.
• Support Sales and Distribution processes, including multi-currency and intercompany transactions.
• Support Purchasing and Supplier Management functions.
• Support Inventory and Warehouse Management, including batch and lot traceability.
• Support Production and MRP processes, including Bills of Materials, recipe management, and formulation control.

Technical Support & Integrations

• Write and manage SQL queries to support reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• Develop and support Crystal Reports or similar reporting outputs.
• Support integrations using SAP DI-API, Service Layer, or middleware tools where required.
• Assist with data migration, system integrations, and business system connectivity.
• Support integration between SAP Business One and other systems such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, banking systems, laboratory systems, and warehouse systems.

Process Improvement & Project Delivery

• Gather business requirements and translate them into practical SAP Business One solutions.
• Support blueprinting, configuration, user acceptance testing, training, and hypercare support.
• Work with external SAP partners when required to deliver system improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across SAP processes and reporting.
• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality, accuracy, and business continuity.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Business One.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, food ingredients, nutraceuticals, or food and beverage environment will be highly preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Business One modules, including finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and production.
• Proven experience configuring and developing in BPA Platform / TaskCentre.
• Strong experience in building automated workflows, alerts, integrations, and custom reports.
• Strong technical skills in SQL queries and Crystal Reports or equivalent reporting tools.
• Basic understanding of SAP DI-API / Service Layer for integrations.
• Experience with data migration, system go-live support, and post-implementation optimization.
• Experience working in a large company environment and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of both a local Sri Lankan team and a wider international team.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work directly with UK and European stakeholders.

Additional Advantages

• Experience with SAP HANA or a strong understanding of the benefits of moving from SQL to HANA.
• Experience in food ingredients, nutraceuticals, or food and beverage manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lot and batch traceability, recall management, shelf-life handling, expiration date management, and FEFO principles.
• Experience with recipe, formulation, and version control processes.
• Knowledge of quality management, specification tracking, allergen management, HACCP principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience integrating SAP Business One with CRM, e-commerce, banking, LIMS, 3PL, or warehouse systems.
• Knowledge of add-on solutions used in the food sector, such as recipe management, advanced warehouse, or quality modules.
• Experience working in a multi-company, multi-site, or international group environment.
• Familiarity with dashboards, KPI reporting, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• SAP Business One certification or module-specific SAP certification will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation will be an added advantage.
• Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams across multiple time zones.
