This Agreement governs how job seekers and employers engage with the platform. Please read it carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
These Terms and Conditions (as modified and amended from time to time, collectively referred to as "Terms and Conditions") apply to the Services rendered through accessing or using HotJobs.lk (the "Site") and are binding on Careers360 Pvt. Limited ("Careers360", "We", or "Us") and every job seeker or employer ("You").
By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including but not limited to visiting, browsing, or contributing content or other materials to the Site (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Job seekers and employers are responsible for ensuring that the advertising content, texts, images, graphics, curriculum vitae (CV), and video (collectively, "Content") uploaded for inclusion on the Site comply with all applicable laws. HotJobs.lk assumes no responsibility for any illegality or inaccuracy within such Content.
Job seekers and employers guarantee that the Content uploaded to the Site does not violate any copyright, intellectual property rights, or other rights of any person or entity. You further agree to indemnify us for all loss incurred relating thereto and release us from all obligations, liabilities, and claims arising in connection with the use of (or the inability to use) the Services.
HotJobs.lk makes no representation or warranty about the services and/or the accuracy of the content, information, or data included in the job promotions directly submitted by customers, as we are not licensed employment agents.
HotJobs.lk only provides a facilitation service to its customers. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage, including without limitation direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising out of your use of this website. Through this website, you may link to other websites that are not under the control of HotJobs.lk, and the inclusion of any links does not imply a recommendation or endorsement of the views expressed within them.

As part of our due diligence, we may notify and deactivate job seekers and employers whose content is deemed inappropriate or false.
We may terminate your access to the Site without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall survive termination, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. Should you access third-party sites, you do so at your own risk, and we strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any site you visit.
Some services of the Site require payment, including but not limited to candidate premier accounts, posting of job advertisements, and ad promotions.
Under no circumstances are we obliged to refund any payments made in respect of paid services.
In some areas of the Site, we request or may request that you provide personal information, including your name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number, National Identity Card number, passport details, contact information, and any other information from which your identity is discernible. In other areas, the Site collects demographic information that is not unique to you, such as age, preferences, gender, and interests.
We also gather certain information about your use of the Site, such as which areas you visit and which services you access. Information about your computer hardware and software may likewise be collected, including IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses.

You can correct or update your account profile and resume at any time. You may also request that we delete your details from our online database or close your Site account, in which event we will remove our copies of your resume and account profile information.

With your consent, we may use your contact information to send emails or other communications about updates, new opportunities, or additional listings that may interest you. You may opt in or out at any time.
We maintain an area where you can submit feedback. Any feedback you submit becomes our property, and we may use such content (such as success stories) for marketing purposes or to contact you for further information, subject to your consent, which you are entitled to withdraw.
We authorize you, subject to these Terms and Conditions, to access and use the Site and the Content thereon and to download and print a single copy of the Content available on the Site. The contents of the Site—including designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files, and other content (collectively, "Site Content")—are protected under copyright, trademark, and other laws.
All Site Content belongs to us or to our licensees, and the compilation (the collection, arrangement, and assembly) of all content on the Site is the exclusive property of AzendTech. Unauthorized use of the Site Content may violate applicable laws and is strictly prohibited. You must preserve all proprietary notices contained in the original Content on any authorized copies you make.
Any code that the Site creates to generate or display Content or the pages making up the Site is also protected by copyright, and you may not copy or adapt such code. You agree not to sell or modify the Site Content; reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the Site Content in an unauthorized manner; or use it in a way likely to cause confusion among consumers, disparage or discredit the Site or its licensees, dilute the strength of intellectual property, or infringe any rights.
The use of the Site Content on any other application, website, or networked computer environment is prohibited, and you agree not to misuse Site Content in any other way. You hereby agree to indemnify us for any losses or damages that may arise in connection with a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
We do not disclose to third parties your personal information, combined personal and demographic information, or information about your use of this Site, except as set forth below.
We may disclose such information to third parties if you consent to such disclosure, which you are entitled to withdraw. For example, if you apply for a vacancy posted by an employer registered on this Site, we may supply your information to these employers so that they can communicate with you about career opportunities.
We may disclose such information to companies and individuals we employ to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing payments, and providing customer service. These parties will have access to your personal information as necessary to perform their functions but may not share that information with others.
We may disclose such information if legally required to do so in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022.
Because this Site is career oriented, we give you the option of uploading your resume to our database, subject to your consent, which you may withdraw. As your resume is searchable, all parties with access to our resume database will have access to certain parts or all of your resume.
You may review, correct, update, or change your account profile information at any time by logging into your account and navigating to your profile.
If you have opted to receive newsletters, commercial emails, or other communications but later change your mind, you may opt out by editing your account profile. If you previously opted not to receive such communications, you may later opt in using the same controls.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from loss, destruction, damage, and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. We shall not be held liable for losses or damages suffered by you or any third party to the maximum extent permissible under law, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Such modifications are effective immediately upon posting on the Site, and you are responsible for reviewing them.
You will have the opportunity to provide your consent for any alterations that affect the manner in which your data is processed, and you may withdraw that consent. Your continued access or use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions shall be executed by the parties in good faith. Any dispute concerning interpretation or performance shall be settled through amicable consultation.
If an amicable settlement is not reached, the courts within Sri Lanka shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions.
