Position: Civil Engineer

Location: Maldives

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

• Develop project budgets based on drawings, specifications, and project scope.

• Recommend cost-effective construction methods, materials, and procurement strategies.

• Prepare BOQs, Terms of Reference (TOR), and tender documentation.

• Review contractor quotations and negotiate pricing.

• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost variances.

• Prepare monthly cost reports and financial updates.

• Verify completed work and quantities executed by contractors.

• Prepare interim payment certificates, valuations, and final accounts.

• Attend project meetings and provide cost-related advice.

• Support project planning through budget forecasting and cost analysis.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain project cost records, contracts, and documentation.

• Prepare project progress and close-out reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, Project Cost Management, or Civil Engineering.

• Construction, infrastructure, industrial, fuel, or engineering project exposure is an added advantage
