Responsibilities

• Conduct precise measurements for spectacle and contact lens fitting, ensuring optimal vision correction.
• Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care, contact lens insertion/removal, and general eye health practices.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to eyewear, maintaining high standards of quality and patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Optometry or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Optician.
• Proven ability to interpret optical prescriptions accurately.
• Strong understanding of various lens types, materials, and coatings.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise measurements and adjustments.
• Proficiency in using optometric equipment and tools.
