We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our robust logistics team. As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring that our high-quality products reach their destinations efficiently. This role requires a professional with a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and a keen eye for vehicle maintenance, contributing directly to our supply chain excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently for the transport of goods.
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and report any defects.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to various locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.

Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E. O/L examinations.
• Possession of a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (e.g., Class M, H, etc.).
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Driver.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.

Additional Advantages

• Experience in the food and beverage distribution industry.
• Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Familiarity with routes across Sri Lanka.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Valid first-aid certification.
